What To Expect
When you come to Fellowship Church you can expect to be welcomed and loved. You will be greeted by our ushers who will take you to our Fellowship Church Welcome Center, where you will receive information about our church. You can then visit Jehovah’s Java for a cup of coffee and a time of fellowship before service begins.
If you have children, you will be guided to either the Nursery, Fellowship Kidz (church), or Little Lambs where you can feel free to leave your little ones in loving hands, if you so desire.
You will then go to our sanctuary. As you enter, upbeat music will be playing and there will be ushers to help you find a seat. You may relax until service begins.
To kick off our services, we begin with praise & worship. We offer a variety of styles from contemporary worship to gospel. You will hear it all. Whatever your taste in music, you will find something that fits you. During our time of praise & worship, you are free to raise your hands or clap as the Spirit moves you.
After praise & worship, we have a time of preaching and teaching. Pastor Michael preaches during most of our Sunday morning worship times. He illustrates God’s Word in a way that makes it very relevant to today’s life. He uses a variety of teaching methods such as video clips, power points, drama, and props to deliver his messages creatively.
Other speakers who share the pulpit with Pastor Michael are Bishop Kenneth Johnson, and pastoral friends of the church. They also use creative teaching methods to draw people into the Word of God. At Fellowship Church you will not be bored.
After delivering the message, the pastor will then give an invitation for people to accept Jesus into their heart. For those who make this choice, we will have counselors available to answer any questions they might have, give them some helpful literature and a bible.
We strive to make people feel at home. We realize that going to a new place full of strangers can be quite intimidating, and we keep that in mind as we welcome new people. Please come and check us out. You won’t regret it.
